More Than Clothing

PIENALOTÉ has never been just a clothing brand to me.

It is a story of creativity, freedom, and the desire to create things that truly matter. A story about clothing that helps people feel authentic, comfortable, and confident in themselves.

In fact, this story began long before the brand itself.

My mother was a seamstress, and I spent a large part of my childhood in her sewing workshop. I was surrounded by rolls of fabric, patterns, the sound of sewing machines, seamstresses, and customers. I watched how an idea and a piece of fabric could become a garment that would later become part of someone’s everyday life.

At the time, it all seemed completely natural, but today I realize how deeply that environment shaped me.

I didn’t just learn the craft of sewing. I learned respect for work, materials, and the process required to create truly high-quality clothing.

These values remain at the heart of PIENALOTÉ today.

In 2012, the brand began as a hobby and an opportunity to bring my creative ideas to life. It was a way to combine what I had learned in childhood with my desire to create something of my own. Step by step, that hobby evolved into a brand that has become an important part of my life and my everyday work.

The Evolution of PIENALOTÉ

Since the very beginning, PIENALOTÉ has been continuously evolving.

Over the years, I have created various collections and experimented with designs, prints, embroidery, and silhouettes. From the first custom-made pieces to animal-inspired collections, children's clothing, Merloté, and later the Self Love Era and Self Power Era collections — each stage has contributed to the growth and development of the brand.

Yet one thing has remained unchanged throughout all these years.

The desire to create clothing for people who do not want to blend into the crowd. For people who appreciate quality, individuality, and the feeling that comes from wearing a well-crafted garment.

What We Create Today

Today, PIENALOTÉ creates clothing for women, men, and children.

We believe that clothing should be more than simply functional. It should help people feel like themselves — free, authentic, and confident.

Our customers are active, creative, and open-minded. They love nature, value sustainable choices, and seek products with character and a story behind them.

They do not always choose what is most popular.

They choose what aligns with their values, lifestyle, and personality.

That is why PIENALOTÉ collections are produced in small quantities, and many garments are made to order.

Why We Do Things Differently

Today, most clothing is produced in large factories through mass-production systems.

PIENALOTÉ chooses a different path.

Every garment is created in our studio located in the Sigulda Castle Quarter. We do not produce thousands of identical pieces or maintain huge warehouse inventories.

I am personally involved in every stage of the brand’s daily operations — from concept and design to fabric selection, pattern making, collection development, photography, customer service, and shipping the finished product.

This allows us to maintain quality, a personal approach, and attention to detail.

PIENALOTÉ is not an anonymous brand.

Behind every garment is a real person, real craftsmanship, and a genuine desire to create something meaningful.

Our goal for the coming years is to reach more people across the Baltics and beyond while preserving what matters most to us — authenticity, quality, and a human-centered approach.

I want PIENALOTÉ to remain a brand where people find not only clothing, but also a feeling.

A feeling that it is possible to live more slowly, choose more consciously, and wear things that truly reflect who we are.
